Medical safety

Pages must avoid diagnosis, treatment instructions, medicine recommendations, or claims that a value proves a condition.

Sources

Medical notes and formulas should cite reputable sources such as MedlinePlus, National Kidney Foundation, American Diabetes Association, Mayo Clinic, and primary formula references when practical.

Review cycle

Reference data and calculators should be reviewed at least every 12 months, and sooner if a source changes or an error is reported.
